Biggest stage of Tamil Nadu Premier League Season 2 is set as Chepauk Super Gillies take on Albert Tuti Patriots at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Tuti Patriots entered the finals beating Chepauk Super Gillies in the Qualilifer 1 whereas Chepauk Super Gillies beat Lyca Kovai Kings in the Qualifier 2. Last year when Tuti Patriots played the Super Gillies, they beat them in the finals. This season, Rajagopal Sathish and Co will look the change their fate and try to leave their fingerprints on the TNPL Trophy.

The squad seems to be perfect for the Gillies who have a very deep batting lineup and precious bowling attack. KH Gopinath, Thalaivan Sargunam, Karthik, Antony Dhas, Rajagopal Sathish,  Sasidev and Vasanth Saravanan are all looking in fine fettle with the bat. They seem to be improving as the days are counted. Pressure should not make the most of Gillies. Top Order and Middle order looks extremely strong. Good start and wickets should not get racked up to potentially threaten the Tuti bowling attack. With the ball, medium pacer R Sathish has been starting well for the Gillies picking up 7 wickets. Budding stars Sai Kishore and Alexander have been tormenting the batsmen by riling up 23 wickets combinedly in this tournament. Their bowling figures have been astonishing throughout this tournament. Yo Mahesh and Antony Dhas have also been amongst the wickets. Adding to that, Radhakrishnan and Adithya Barooah are back from India Under-19 and NCA Camps respectively which will be a huge boost for the Gillies. Tuti seems to be strong in their own way. They have been dominant throughout the tournament to reach the finals. The likes of Dinesh Karthik, Abhinav Mukund, Washington Sundar, Subramanian Anand, Athisiyaraj, Ganesh Moorthi have been in great form for the Tuti Patriots. After playing couple of times this season, Chepauk will look to exploit their weakness going to into this enormous encounter.

Chepauk Super Gillies will have no pushovers as Skipper Rajagopal Sathish insisted that the team would love to take their confidence forward from the win against Lyca Kovai Kings in the Qualifier 2. MA Chidambaram Stadium is expected to be in full voice for the Gillies ahead of this final.
